Elsewhere there are rain warnings in place from Wednesday through to Saturday this week.
On Wednesday morning the Met Office issued a further rain warning starting at 2pm on Wednesday until 11am on Thursday.
This warning is for, Dumfries and Galloway, Scottish Borders, East Ayrshire ,East Renfrewshire, North Ayrshire, South Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire.
The Met Office warns rain is expected to become persistent and occasionally heavy across parts of southern Scotland during Wednesday afternoon.
This will slowly clear from the northwest on Thursday morning.
