City living beats rural life by a country mile, says VIRGINIA BLACKBURN

MONUMENTS are important, crystallising our national thanks to those who put their lives on the line to protect us all. Just as wartime leader Sir Winston Churchill paid tribute to the gallant Few, the young pilots who saved us in 1940, so we should pay respect to those health workers who have given their lives to help us.
